The Education Our Gift Foundation (EOG) continues the legacy of Brother Dominic Jordan, who dedicated his life to transforming the lives of orphans, “Street Children,” and other vulnerable children.

25 Years of Impact: In 1998, Brother Dominic founded the Child Rescue Center at St. Mary’s School, Nyeri.

The Program he founded provided All Education Expenses, Food Security, Medical Care, Counseling/Mentorship, and Extra- Curricular Activities as well as a Nursery School and Child Rescue Transition Home to children who once lived on the streets, struggling to survive.

His work became a beacon of hope, turning children in need into college graduates and empowered individuals.

His profound connection to the people he served was evident even in his final wishes. He chose to be buried in Nyeri, Kenya so that, in death, he could remain close to the Children/Young Adults whose lives he transformed. At his funeral, over 3,000 people gathered to pay their respects, a testament to the immense impact he had on the community.

The foundation ensures that every child & young adult in its care receives essential support for a brighter future.
As of October 2025, 442 children are currently under our care, receiving the support they need to thrive.
By staying true to Brother Dominic Jordan’s Vision - our guiding light and inspiration - we
continue to transform lives and build brighter futures for some of the most vulnerable Children & Young Adults in Kenya.
